On April 16, a delegation led by Li Xiang, member of the Party Group and Vice General Manager of China Tobacco Hubei, visited China Haisum for research and exchange. Chen Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Haisum, and Vice Presidents Zhang Zhi and Li Shijun warmly welcomed the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the trend of intelligent upgrade and transformation in the tobacco industry, technological implementation, and future cooperation directions. Zhang Zhi introduced China Haisum's digital transformation strategy and intelligent product system. Relevant persons in charge discussed the intelligent upgrade of the entire production line, including the intelligent manufacturing guidelines for the tobacco industry and the application of smart construction in project management. Lu Tianrui, director for solutions in DP Technology, shared insights on the application of AI models in intelligent R&D.

Li Xiang thanked China Haisum for its long-term support and assistance in various projects of China Tobacco Hubei. He stated that the intelligent upgrade and transformation of the tobacco industry is inevitable, and expressed willingness to collaborate with China Haisum to achieve the goal of intelligent upgrade in the tobacco industry, accelerate the transformation of China Tobacco Hubei into a digital tobacco enterprise, and empower the high-quality development of the tobacco industry.

Chen Rongrong welcomed Li Xiang and his delegation. He pointed out that both sides have jointly achieved several industry firsts, with a solid foundation for cooperation. As a pioneer in digitalization in the light industry sector, China Haisum has systematically promoted digital transformation in recent years, focusing on the improvement of professional capabilities in the field of intelligent manufacturing. He hoped that both parties would work together to create a benchmark project for the intelligent upgrade of the tobacco industry, empowering the high-quality development of the tobacco industry.

Prior to the meeting, Li Xiang and his delegation visited the China Haisum's brand exhibition hall.

During the event, both parties visited the Artificial Intelligence Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and JAKA Robotics Co., Ltd., and had exchanges on topics related to the application of AI models for intelligent operations and collaboration robots in tobacco engineering.

Personnel participating in above activities included Chen Huibin, Chief Engineer of China Tobacco Hubei, heads of the Investment Management Department, Information Center, Production and Manufacturing Center; department heads from the China Haisum's Headquarters, as well as relevant leaders from Shanghai Headquarters, CLWD, China Light Industry Construction, and Engineering Management Company.
